Tell Me

But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Luke 21:14-15

Just when I think I have everything all figured out, somebody challenges me or tears down my securities. The right words never seem to rise to my mind and to my mouth to dispute what they are saying, so here I am wanting to figure it all out beforehand. I don't want any surprises tomorrow. Help me, Lord.

Peace comes over me as I ask for Your help. You are not going to provide me with advance comments to memorize before confrontation. Instead, You tell me to reflect on Your faithfulness and goodness, and the words and strength I need will be there.
